Blancpain GT – Mikkel Jensen new BMW junior driver

Mikkel Jensen has joined the ranks of BMW Motorsport as a junior driver. 2014 ADAC Formel Masters champion completes Walkenhorst Motorsport's BMW M6 GT3 crew in Blancpain GT Series Endurance Cup where the German Nico Menzel and the Norwegian Christian Krognes are also lined up.

“I am proud to join the BMW Motorsport Junior Program, declared Mikkel Jensen who proved himself during a test session organized in Miramas (Bouches-du-Rhône) alongside Jörg Müller and Dirk Adorf. I did very well behind the wheel of the BMW M4 GT4 and it's fantastic to be able to gain experience in the BMW M6 GT3. »

Mikkel Jensen leaves car after having evolved for two seasons in F3 European Championship. The Dane finished 9th in the 2015 season and 12th in the 2016 season with Mücke Motorsport. The BMW Motorsport Junior Program also tests other candidates.
