Blancpain – James Nash moves to Sprint

After the British Touring Car Championship, then the WTCC (notably with Bamboo Engineering in 2013 with two victories), the British James Nash had taken part in Blancpain Endurance TV Shows last year with the Belgian team Team WRT. Lined up at the wheel of the Audi R8 LMS ultra n°3 alongside the Germans Frank Stippler and Christopher Mies, Nash took third place at the 24 Hours of Spa.

In 2015, the 29-year-old driver will once again be entered by the Belgian Audi Club Team WRT, but will now evolve in the Sprint Series. “I am very happy to ride with Team WRT again and make my debut in the Sprint series, says Nash. I chose to race in the Sprint Series to get more time in the car, as there is the qualifying race and the main race every weekend. Furthermore, of the seven Blancpain Sprint Series events on the program this year, I have only raced at Brands Hatch and the Algarve so far, so I will have to learn some new tracks. »

The 2015 Blancpain Sprint Series will begin Easter Cups in Nogaro in the Gers, from April 4 to 6.
