Scarecrow of last season in Blancpain GT Series, including the Drivers and Teams crowns in GT and Endurance Series, the WRT team will field high-flying crews this season in the Sprint and Endurance championships.

As for the Sprint, which will resume on April 4 at Nogaro in Gers, four cars will be entered. Laurens Vanthoor, Endurance champion in 2014, will evolve alongside the former Caterham reserve driver F1, The Dutch Robin Frijns on the No. 8 Audi R1 LMS ultra. Enzo Ide? Christopher Mies (Audi n°2), Stéphane Ortelli – Stéphane Richelmi (Audi no. 3) and Frank Stippler – James Nash (Audi no. 4) complete the line-up.

In the Endurance Series, three crews will be taking part. In Pro-Am, we will find Sacha Bottemanne and Laurent Pasquali, associated with Max Koebolt. In the Pro-Cup, Laurens Vanthoor will defend his title and will most frequently find Robin Frijns and Frenchman Jean-Karl Vernay, which will double this program with the GT Asia (on a Bentley), on the n°1. For the 24 Hours of Spa (July 23-26), WRT has announced the crews Vanthoor – Winkelhock – Rast (winners last year) and Ortelli – Stippler – Müller on the new R8 LMS version 2015 while Frijns – Richelmi – Vernay will be entered on an R8 LMS ultra.

Furthermore, the new 8 R2015 will be in action from Monza in Italy (April 11-12) in the hands of Nico Müller, Frank Stippler and Stéphane Ortelli, while Vanthoor – Winkelhock – Rast will rehearse their ranges at Paul Ricard in the Var (19 -June 20) before Spa.
