C1 – Lloyd beats Bennani and Filippi at Paul-Ricard

The name of his team can make his opponents chatter: Brutal Fish Racing. The decoration of his Honda Civic Type-R, highlighted by a fish with its mouth open, says a lot about his ambitions. Daniel Lloyd did not fail in this bellicose tone and won the first race of the 2020 TCR Europe season, Saturday August 22.

The Corsican is satisfied not with second place, but third place, after Mehdi Bennani (Audi) overtook him in the first corners.

The Clairet family played the role of entertainers in the hunting group. Teddy Clairet finished at the foot of the podium, two positions ahead of his big brother Jimmy (6th). For the Briché family, this race 1 ended without a single point, even if Julien Briché had appeared in the top 10 for a time.
