Chevrolet on test in Jerez

During the long off-season between the Macau race and the opening of the 2010 season, Chevrolet decided to complete several testing sessions in Spain. Yvan Muller's new team carried out two days of testing in the south of Spain, on December 17 and 18. With Alain Menu at the wheel, the American firm was however disrupted by the rain which occurred during both days.

« It was great to be back behind the wheel last week at Jerez ", said Menu, " although the rain prevented us from carrying out the development work. As the weather and track conditions were constantly changing, it was not easy to work on the set-up. However, we were able to complete 700 km without experiencing the slightest problem. »

Tests will continue at the beginning of January (January 11-12) in Valencia with the first laps of Yvan Muller. The team will then travel to the Algarve (January 20-21) before returning to Valencia (February 17-18).
