As mid-season approaches, the transfer market is in full swing within the Nascar and in particular at Team Penske.
At the end of the contract, Brad Keselowski will no longer own the No. 2 Ford Mustang of the Mooresville (North Carolina) team at the end of the 2021 season.
As of the 2022 financial year, the native of Rochester Hills (Michigan) will be replaced by the young Austin Cindric, 2020 champion of the Xfinity Series (second division of Nascar) and seen in some rounds of the Cup Series already this year.

« Austin is a champion and has proven his abilities on and off the track, underlines Roger Penske. The Cup Series is a very important step for a rookie but this promotion, as the NextGen looms, is logical. He gained a lot of experience by participating in a few Cup Series races and proved himself up to the task. ».
Concerning Brad Keselowski, no announcement has been made. If he is guaranteed to leave Team Penske, the 2012 champion could continue his career with Roush Fenway Racing in a driver/owner role.
