Doriane Pin: “We will fight again for the championship”

Dorian Pin completely dominated this first Saturday of Trofeo Pirelli competition in Ferrari Challenge. For this inaugural round of the season held in Portimão, the 18-year-old Frenchwoman took pole position during the morning's qualifying session before winning in race 1 a little later in the day with almost 20 seconds ahead of his first pursuers.

“What an incredible start to the season! We had a good start and the pace was excellent throughout the race, reacted Dorian Pin after its success. I want to thank the team for all their hard work this weekend. The objective is to repeat this performance tomorrow (Sunday. Editor's note) and I hope it is the first of many victories. I hope we can continue like this and fight for the championship again this year. » 

A resident of the Iron Dames, the French driver has indeed taken over from Michelle Gatting in the Iron Lynx Ferrari 488 Challenge EVO. The first woman to win this competition last November, the Dane is the holder this season in WEC and in GT World Challenge Europe alongside Rahel Frey and Sarah Bovy. The trio did not fail to congratulate Doriane Pin on her first victory since Imola.
