The TCR International Series will take place alongside the Monaco Grand Prix in 2017. The discipline will no longer go to Macau, however.

Changes to the 2017 TCR International Series calendar

The promoters of the TCR International Series have published the provisional calendar for the 2017 season which includes several new features. The entrants will compete in ten rounds compared to 11 in 2016. The opening will take place on April 2 at the Rustavi International Motopark in Georgia, which will host a major international motorsport event for the first time, while the season will end on the 26 November on the Yas Marina circuit in Abu Dhabi in support race of the F1.

If the TCR International Series will no longer be involved in the Macau Grand Prix, it will serve as a support race for the Monaco Grand Prix on May 28. The discipline will also perform on the sidelines of the Bahrain GP on April 16.

The TCR International Series will not return to Estoril (Portugal), Imola (Italy), Sochi (Russia), Singapore (China) and Sepang (Malaysia), but it will travel to the Hungaroring (Hungary). A round in South Korea or China will also be confirmed.
