Misano is one of the most popular circuits for Lamera Cup drivers. Over the last four years, the championship has taken place three times on this track where fast curves and long downforce braking, punctuated by a few slow sequences, are the norm. The general grip of the track, completely resurfaced in 2020, is also a challenge requiring us to seek the best compromise between attack and management of the Continental series tires which equip the Lamera. Optimizing the longevity of this slightly softer – and therefore faster – rubber than the 2021 generation is one of the strategic challenges of this season.
