Garage 59 confirms its lines

If the passage from Garage 59 in the clan Aston Martin had already been in effect for several weeks, the British structure has confirmed its lines for the 2019 season of the Blancpain GT Series Endurance Cup.

The team, which allowed the trio Côme Ledogar – Shane van Gisbergen – Rob Bell to win the title in 2016 with the McLaren 650S GT3, will once again trust the Lyon driver, who will this time be assisted by the official Aston Martin driver Jonny Adam and the new Junior AMR driver Andrew Watson.

Ledogar and Watson officiated last year at Garage 59, while Jonny Adam will be a recruit of choice to aim for the leading roles in an increasingly tough Pro category.

“I know Como has a very good racing background and I know how good Andrew is since I trained him at the very beginning of his career, underlines Jonny Adam. Garage 59 is a good team and they know the Blancpain championship inside out.

Combine all of this with the new Vantage GT3 and you'll have the ability to create the consistent mix you need to achieve championship victories. »

The second Aston Martin Vantage will be entered in the Am Cup for the trio Alexander West – Chris Goodwin (Aston Martin high performance test driver) – Chris Harris, the presenter of Top Gear in Great Britain.
