Luca Ghiotto has had enough of single-seaters. The Italian will refocus at the age of 24 on GT3s from 2020 by joining the GT World Challenge (formerly Blancpain GT Series) within the Swiss team R-Motorsport. He will pilot a Aston Martin Vantage.
Ranked third in the Formula 2 before the final scheduled for Abu Dhabi (November 29-December 1), Luca Ghiotto had already shown his openness to other categories by participating in the 6 Hours of Fuji (Japan) with a Ginetta G60-LT LM P1.
“This is an important step in my career, advances the 2015 GP3 Series vice-champion, behind Esteban Ocon. R-Motorsport is one of the reference teams in GT and my program in two championships (the Sprint and theEndurance. Editor's note) will be a real challenge for me. »
