Gianni Morbidelli will make his Nascar Whelen Euro Series debut in 2020

After F1 (70 Grands Prix, with a 3rd place in Australia in 1995 with Footwork) and tourism (WTCC, TCR, etc.), Gianni morbidelli will make its debut in a new category in 2020 by competing in the entirety of the season Nascar Whelen Euro Series.

The native of Pesaro will be aligned with the Chevrolet n°88 of CAAL Racing, shared with Max Lanza, entered for his part in EuroNascar 2.

Morbidelli remains in two lackluster campaigns in WTCR (a third of the season withAlfa Romeo – Romeo Ferraris) and in TCR Europe with the Volkswagen Golf GTI TCR of WestCoast Racing, where the Transalpine finished 13th in the championship.
