AKKA-ASP in battle order for 2020

Leading French team on the GT3 scene with Saintéloc Racing, the training of Jérôme Policand AKKA-ASP will present himself at the start of the 2020 campaign of GT World Challenge Europe with reshuffled crews.

Raffaele marciello will once again be the base man of the Rabastens team in Endurance Cup and Sprint Cup, the Italian competing in long races with the Brazilian Felipe Fraga and the Russian Timur Boguslavskiy, and with the latter in Sprint.

Exit therefore the cutting-edge association between Marciello and Vincent Abril, the Monegasque no longer being part of the AKKA armada in 2020.

Note, however, that Jérôme Policand will not be able to count on Marciello and Fraga at the 24 Hours of Spa, the two drivers being entered year-round in the Intercontinental GT Challenge with GruppeM Racing. Two AMG badged drivers are expected to replace the two teammates, in a car which will however retain the AMG label in Belgium.

The Silver and Pro-Am categories will also be targeted by AKKA-ASP in the Endurance Cup, with a renewed trio in Silver composed of the Chilean Benjamin Hites vice champion Ferrari Challenge North America 2019, associated with the French Arno Santamato and Lucas Légeret.

Jean-Luc Beaubelique will reunite with Jim Pla and Fabien Barthez on the Pro-Am car, Thomas Drouet coming to strengthen the trio at Spa. Pla and Hites will also be associated in the Silver Cup in Sprint. This is without counting a car operated in GT Sportsclub for Mauro Ricci.

Note that the French team will be able to count on new chassis from the Mercedes-AMG GT3 in its 2020 version.

Remember that three GT4 versions will be entered in FFSAGT this year, with the tandems Jean-Luc Beaubelique – Jim Pla and Fabien Barthez – Vincent Marserou (20 years old and from karting) in Pro-Am, when Thomas Drouet and Paul Petit will compete in the Silver Cup.
