AKKA-ASP winner, WRT champion in Barcelona

Belgian beer will flow freely. The 100% Belgian crew of Charles Weerts and Dries Vanthoor wins the GT World Challenge Europe Sprint Cup title, following the final race in Barcelona this afternoon.

The WRT team's Audi finished second in the final event of the season, just behind the Mercedes of the AKKA-ASP team led by Raffaele Marciello and Timur Boguslavskiy. The Russian did his best to hope for the title, but failed by four points. He remains at the top of the general classification, ahead of Spa and Le Castellet.
