It was on a track declared wet and after an additional formation lap that the second race on Sunday at Brands Hatch started with Raffaele Marciello (AKKODIS ASP Team) in pole position. The Swiss achieved a perfect takeoff and immediately took a good margin over his pursuers, Patric Niederhauser (Sainteloc Junior Team) and Dries Vanthoor (Team WRT). The leader stood out very clearly before the opening of the pit lane, increasing his lead to more than ten seconds after just over twenty minutes of racing! Niederhauser was the first driver of the leading trio to give way to his teammate, Aurélien Panis. An endless stop which cost the French team's Audi second position. WRT covered this strategy with the stop of Dries Vanthoor, replaced by Charles Weerts.

Marciello finally left the wheel with just under 28 minutes to go and gave Timur Boguslavskiy a chance to win this second Sunday race with around ten seconds to spare on Charles Weerts and Jules Gounon (AKKODIS ASP Team). The neutral-licensed Russian pilot brought the Mercedes-AMG GT3 n°89 arrived safely and thus ensured a big victory. The podium was completed by Charles Weerts for Team WRT and Jules Gounon with a second Mercedes-AMG GT3 from AKKODIS ASP Team. Valentino Rossi finished in eighth position with the No. 46 of Team WRT which he shares with Frédéric Vervisch, synonymous with first points in his new discipline for the Italian. Overall winners earlier in the day, Ulysse de Pauw and Pierre-Alexandre Jean won the Silver category with the white AF Corse n°53.
