Unsurprisingly, the four-time world champion will not be behind the wheel of theAston Martin Vantage GT3, operated in association with 2 Seas Motorsports. He called on trusted people in the person of Thierry Vermeulen, who already represented Verstappen.com in competition and whose father manages the interests of the driver of Formula 1, and Harry King.
Finally, Max Verstappen also wanted to give a chance to a young simracer, he who is a fervent defender of simracing and who is used to doing virtual races, including during Grand Prix weekends. Thus, Chris Lulham will take the plunge and will discover the real circuits.
« I have always dreamed of supporting young drivers and for some time now I have been trying to give a simracing driver the opportunity to experience racing in the real world., welcomes Max Verstappen. With Chris Lulham, who has been promoted from the Redline team to our GT3 Sprint and Endurance Racing, and teaming up with Thierry Vermeulen, who has been racing for Verstappen.com Racing for a few years now, we are taking the next step. »
Note that Thierry Vermeulen and Harry King will also compete in the Sprint Cup in GT World Challenge Europe. This will be on a Ferrari 296 GT3 of Emil Frey Racing.
