Coronavirus – The 1 Km of Paul-Ricard moved to November

It was an open secret. By its place on May 30, the 1 Km of Paul-Ricard, an event counting for the GT World Challenge Europe Endurance Cup, were postponed after the French government's announcement to ban public gatherings until mid-July in order to counter the Covid-19 pandemic.

The race organized by SRO Motorsport Group is moved to 15th November next. The GT4 European Series and Formula Renault Eurocup will feature among others among the support trays. The format of 1 km, or six hours of effort, is preserved, with a start given on Sunday at noon instead of Saturday 18 p.m. in previous years.

Thus, thehe first round of the GT World Challenge Endurance Cup in 2020 will be, if the health situation remains there, the 24 Hours of Spa (Belgium, July 23-26). SRO Motorsport Group continues to monitor the evolution of restrictions in each country visited by its championships in order to modify, if necessary, certain dates.
