Back, Monza will launch the 2021 season

On the sidelines of the 24 Hours of Spa, SRO Motorsports organized a press conference in which the calendar for the upcoming GT World Challenge Europe season was revealed.

After the first days of testing (March 12-13), the start of the 2021 campaign will be given in Monza (April 16-18), returning to the calendar after its absence in 2020. Two sprint meetings will then follow at Brands Match (May 1-2) and Magny-Cours (May 7-9) before the Paul Ricard 1000 km (May 28-30).

Zandvoort (June 18-20) and Misano (July 2-4), with Test Days at Spa (June 21-25, TBC) in between, will mark the end of the first part of the 2021 season.

After a four-week hiatus, the grid will also return to the Ardennes for the traditional 24 Hours (July 29 to August 1) before those of the Nürburgring a month later (September 4-5).

Barcelona is scheduled as the last stage of the next campaign (October 8-10) but SRO has yet to confirm a final sprint meeting between the German and Spanish rounds. Two dates are planned for this purpose: September 18-19 or 25-15. The location, however, is not known.
