Grids still very full in 2020

28 GT3s entered year-round in GT World Challenge Europe, 53 in Endurance Cup and 33 in Sprint Cup. SRO Motorsports will be able to count on further growth of its grid in 2020 on the continental scene, after having unveiled the lists of participants in its championships GT World Challenge Europe on the sidelines of the pre-season testing at Paul Ricard.

The Endurance section will once again bring together the largest grid with 53 cars, including 23 in Pro, and the eleven brands Aston Martin, Audi, Bentley, BMW, Ferrari, Honda, Lamborghini, Lexus, McLaren, Mercedes-AMG and Porsche réprésentées.

Among these teams, most of which have announced their programs, we will highlight GPX Racing (winner at the 24 Spa 2019 Hours), Dinamic Motorsport and ROWE Racing for Porsche, AKKA-ASP, Black Falcon for Mercedes-AMG, Team WRT , Saintéloc Racing (Audi), Emil Frey Racing, FFF Racing (Lamborghini), K-Pax Racing, CMR (Bentley), R-Motorsport (Aston Martin), AF Corse (Ferrari) …

In Sprint, the slight disappointment comes from the absence of a Porsche and a Ferrari in Pro, but the grid will look very good with 33 cars. The French teams will be in force with three Mercedes-AMG GT3s for AKKA-ASP, three Audi R8 LMS GT3s for Saintéloc Racing and two Bentley Continental GT3s for CMR.

The season-opening event is now set for a Sprint event at Brands Hatch in early May, following the cancellation of the Endurance round at Monza following the coronavirus pandemic.
