The Ferrari 550s Maranello, Chrysler Viper, Saleen S7-R, Lister Storm, operated by cutting-edge teams like BMS Scuderia Italia, Larbre Compétition… are the arch-favorites at the start of this 56th edition of the 24 Hours of Spa in 2003.

The double round of the Ardennes will, however, hold a totally improbable scenario, with a fine-tuned strategy carried out by Freisinger Motorsport and its leading trio Romain Dumas – Stéphane Ortelli – Marc Lieb. In the Belgian rain, the little N-GT will outsmart the big GTs and pocket a historic victory, undoubtedly the greatest achievement of the event.
