The GT World Challenge Europe continues in 2022. The Sprint and Endurance Cup, organized by Stéphane Ratel Organization (SRO), were unveiled on Saturday September 4 on the sidelines of the Nürburgring event.
Precisely, the German track disappears from the Endurance program. A circuit traditionally visited by GT3s for a decade, the Nürburgring gives way to Hockenheim, always on the first weekend of September.
No other changes need to be specified, with five rounds in both Sprint and Endurance. France will still benefit from two meetings. The Sprint Cup peloton will travel to Nièvre near Magny-Cours from May 13 to 15, while the Endurance variation will go to Paul-Ricard (June 3-5) for the full-scale rehearsal before the 24 Hours of Spa, SRO's flagship race (July 28-31).
SRO also announced that the FFSAGT will take place as a support race for the GTWCE Sprint at Magny-Cours. The GT4 European Series will set up shop at Paul-Ricard.
