Iron Lynx and Iron Dames continue the adventure in GT World Challenge Europe. The Italian outfit has confirmed its presence for the 2023 season, with three cars entered for the three rounds of theEndurance Cup. New this season: the team abandons Ferrari 488 GT3 for the Lamborghini Huracán GT3 Evo2, following the new partnership between the Sant'Agata Bolognese firm and the Cesena team.

Two Iron Lynx and an Iron Dame

For the five events of the Endurance Championship – including the 24 Hours of Spa – Iron Lynx will enter three horses, including an Iron Dames. The latter will be driven by Rahel Frey, Sarah Bovy and Michelle Gatting aboard car no. 83, in the Bronze Cup. The 100% female trio will try to defend their 24 Spa 2022 Hours Gold Cup title alongside Dorian Pin, which was also confirmed with Iron Dames for the Walloon event.

In the two Lamborghini Iron Lynx, we will find a crew composed entirely of official Lamborghini drivers, with Mirko Bortolotti, Andrea Caldarelli and Jordan Pepper aboard the No. 63 car. All three men will race in the Pro category throughout the season. The second Iron Lynx car, No. 19, will compete in the Gold Cup with drivers Rolf Ineichen, Michele Beretta and Lamborghini factory driver Leonardo Pulcini.

“This is the third year that Iron Lynx has competed in the GT World Challenge Europe Endurance Cup, and we are delighted to present three cars on the grid, rejoiced Andrea Piccini, director of the Iron Lynx team. We are excited to return with Lamborghini to take on one of the most competitive GT championships. We have very good memories of our previous seasons in GTWC and we are really looking forward to taking part in the official test days which start tomorrow. »

The GT World Challenge Europe Endurance Cup season will begin on April 22 with the opening round in Monza, Italy.
