Jules Gounon will defend his Endurance Cup title with GetSpeed

The champion is back! Jules Gounon, double champion ofEndurance Cup in GT World Challenge Europe in the Pro category, puts his title back on the line in 2024. However, the Frenchman – who races under Andorran license – will defend his title with a new team: GetSpeed. The German formation, which exploits the Mercedes-AMG GT3, has revealed its crew for the upcoming GTWCE campaign. Thus, Jules Gounon will be accompanied by Luca Stolz and Fabian Schiller in the Endurance Cup.

The native of Aubenas will therefore not have at his side his companions from last season, namely Raffaele Marciello, who left for BMW, and Timur Boguslavskiy, entered with Lexus in LMGT3 in the World Endurance Championship.

“With two second places at Paul Ricard and the Nürburgring, as well as a fourth place in the finale in Barcelona, ​​we demonstrated strong performances, said GetSpeed ​​team principal Adam Osieka. With the trio of experienced drivers Fabian, Jules and Luca, we are aiming for the title in 2024.”

In addition to the Endurance Cup, Jules Gounon will compete in the Sprint Cup in GT World Challenge Europe, with the Boutsen VDS team alongside Maximilian Goetz. First stage of the season: the GTWCE Prologue, which will be organized on March 5 and 6 on the Paul-Ricard circuit. The first round of the Endurance Cup will take place a month later (April 5-7) at Le Castellet.
