The KTM X-Bow GT2 approved for the GT World Challenge Europe

KTM is actively preparing the launch of the X-Bow in its GT2 and GTX versions. If the GT2 is planned for the new category set up by SRO, the GTX should be accessible in different GT races, whether in sprint or endurance races.

Note that Reiter and KTM indicate that the GT2 should also be eligible in the GT World Challenge Europe Sprint Cup, thus joining the first idea of Stéphane Ratel and SRO Motorsports to combine GT2 and GT3 sprint rounds.

Produced in association with Reiter Engineering, all cars will be assembled in the Graz factory (Austria).

“We analyzed the competitive environment and were able to optimize costs based on our experience in the design of light vehicles, declared Hubert Trunkenpolz, member of the management committee of the Austrian brand… It is important to remember that these cars have a weight/performance ratio normally available in the supercar segment.

The car also offers absolute standards in terms of efficiency and safety. It is also great news to have obtained homologation for the GT World Challenge Europe Sprint Cup. »

The KTM X-Bow contains a 5-cylinder Audi engine developing 500hp in the GTX version and 600hp in the GT2 version, for a total weight of 1000kg. Potential buyers can already reserve the models sold at a price of €230 in the GTX version and €000 in the GT294 version.
