Mercedes-AMG Customer Competition Figures of the Year

Mercedes-AMG does not only shine in F1. The starred manufacturer took advantage of the end of the year to take stock of its season with its Customer Competitions department.

The year 2019 allowed the Flèches d’Argent Customer Competition department to collect no less than 40 titles. 93 customer teams have achieved 247 category victories and 625 podiums in 489 races contested. 392 drivers took the wheel of a star-studded GT3 or GT4 across 30 countries.

Kenneth Heyer was the most frequent with 34 participations this year, while AKKA ASP had 112 entries with the GT3 and GT4.

Mercedes-AMG notably won the FIA ​​GT World Cup in Macau (China) with Raffaele Marciello and Team GruppeM Racing as well as the Blancpain GT World Challenge Europe Teams title with AKKA ASP Team.

The Mercedes-AMG GT4 also contributed to the success of the service, notably winning the SP10 category at the 24 Hours of Nürburgring with Team Black Falcon and winning 2 VLN titles.

Mercedes is already preparing for the future with a new version of its Mercedes-AMG GT3 presented on June 21 in the Nürburgring paddock.
