The two Zandvoort races will take place on Saturday

The word normal is unknown at GT World Challenge sprint cup weekends this season. The series began with three races during the round of Misano, a first.

For the third meeting, at Zandvoort, SRO has decided to concentrate testing, qualifying and races on Friday and Saturday. By 15 p.m. on Saturday afternoon, everyone will have packed up.

This staggered program will allow drivers to go to the 24 hours of the Nurburgring, whose departure is scheduled for 15:30 p.m. Like the Haupt Racing team, many people will participate in both events.

The German event has the advantage of being run with four drivers per car, so participants in the GT Word Challenge will have time to get there to complete the late stints.

The clash of dates could not be avoided due to the very tight calendar of the motorsport season.

In detail, the Zandvoort weekend will begin with testing on Friday September 25 at 9:30 a.m., pre-qualifying at 13:50 p.m. and qualifying at 17:50 p.m. The two races will take place the next day at 9 a.m. and 13:45 p.m.

The rest of the weekend will be reserved for support races such as the GT4 European series.
