« I am honored to be recognized by Aston Martin for my successes achieved over the last two seasons, declared Romain Leroux. My goal when registering with the AMR Academy in 2021 was to establish a relationship with a manufacturer. Being named the 2022 AMR Academy winner is a significant achievement that reflects my hard work and improvement as a driver. Now I look forward to building on that with the Vantage GT3 this season. »

« We are delighted for Romain, who produced two exceptional racing seasons in the Vantage and showed all the qualities and characteristics that made his predecessors stand out as graduates of the AMR Driver Academy – and we are certain that he will continue to flourish as a driver in our ranks until 2023 and beyond, adds Huw Tasker, Head of AMR Racing Partners. As a mechanism for evaluating and identifying exceptional talent within our partner ranks, the AMR Driver Academy remains informative and essential, and looking at the list of candidates lined up for 2023, we are certain that the tradition is expected to continue. »
