A three-star meeting for Magny-Cours

SRO Motorsports will offer a well-stocked program for the Magny-Cours meeting in September. In addition to the traditional meeting of the French Circuit Championship, bringing together FFSAGT, FFSA F4, Porsche Carrera Cup France, Alpine Europa Cup, Clio Cup France and Sprint Cup by Funyo, the GT3 will make its comeback in Nièvre, with the GT World Challenge Europe.

We have to go back to 2015 and the FFSA GT French Championship event, then showcasing the category, to find traces of a leading GT3 race on the former track of the French Grand Prix F1.

As we indicated several weeks ago, Magny-Cours entered the loop of the GT World Challenge Europe calendar at the time of completely overhauling the calendar in the face of the coronavirus pandemic.

If a sleeve Endurance was once considered, two sprint races will ultimately be on the menu for an integrated round in a new calendar revealed earlier this morning.
