Between Valentino Rossi and motorsport, the mayonnaise is starting to set. Reconverted into a racing driver after a long career that we no longer present in MotoGP, the Italian is improving day by day. This is what his recent results confirm in any case with a curtain-raising victory at the 24 Hours of Le Mans as part of the Michelin Le Mans Cup in June and a first this Sunday near Misano in GT World Challenge Europe!

Accompanied by Maxime Martin in the No. 4 BMW M3 GT46 of Team WRT, the Doctor was able to exult on his own land after a mastered Sprint round. “ I can't be happier, admitted Vale, no doubt moved.

Winning here in Misano is very special. We knew we could be strong, but winning is another story! I won my first GT race at Road to Le Mans, but it's different because it's our main championship, the level is so high and there are so many fast drivers."

We therefore had to wait a year and a half for the Transalpine to claim victory in the championship in which he is engaged full-time. Over the moon after his feat, Valentino Rossi nevertheless did not forget to thank his team and his boss Vincent Vosse without whom nothing would have been possible. “ It all started a year and a half ago, with Vincent, with the whole WRT team, and it's a great success, he rejoices. Everyone did a fantastic job, Maxime, the boys, and I thank everyone and BMW. I'm enjoying the present moment and we must continue like this."
