You don't change a formula that (almost) wins. In 2020, Honda will continue its partnership with the four drivers from the previous season in WTCR: Esteban Guerrieri, Nestor Girolami, Tiago Monteiro and Attila Tassi.
For the Argentinian sidekicks, this renewal was obvious, as their work within Münnich Motorsport has been excellent in recent months. One time leader of the general classification, Nestor Girolami then lent a hand to Esteban Guerrieri when he took on the role of favorite for the title, even if Norbert Michelisz emerged victorious at the last minute in Malaysia.
The best view of my road. From 9º to 1º in the Sepang region, there is rain and light in the camp! Inolvidable!
The best lap of my career. From P9 to P1 at the start in Sepang, under the rain and fighting for the championship! Unforgettable!#TeamEG @FIA_WTCR pic.twitter.com/murjxNrsWY

As for Tiago Monteiro and Attila Tassi, they were hardly helped by a Civic Type-R that was not always up to par at the start of the season. The Portuguese, under official contract with the Japanese brand in Tourism since 2012, is also a valuable ambassador for Honda.
The Hungarian, promising in TCR (4th in TCR Europe 2018, 2nd in TCR International 2017) marked time during his first season at world level, with a meager 24th place in the final. The teams that will house this quartet have not yet been confirmed by Honda.
