Honda takes pole at Kyalami

It will be the car to beat on Saturday. The official Honda NSX GT3 impressed during qualifying and especially the Super Pole at the 9 Hours of Kyalami. Thanks to Mario Farnbacher, she took pole for the final of the Intercontinental GT Challenge 2020, from her first lap in 1'41''581.

The local South Africans, who know the route by heart, were unable to do anything. Jordan Pepper fails 142 thousandths behind the wheel of the Bentley Continental GT3 M-Sport, while Sheldon Van der Linde set the third fastest time in the Walkenhorst Motorsport BMW M6 GT3.

The three other competitors in the Superpole were unable to join in the fight. The No. 8 Car Collection Audi R44 LMS finished fourth with Christopher Haase, the Porsche GPX Racing's 911 GT3 R driven by Matt Campbell fifth and the #35 BMW in the hands of David Pittard finished the top 6.
