Between October 15 and 17, the 8 Hours of Indianapolis will take place. For the event, the Craft-Bamboo Racing team announced its return to competition, for the first time since February 2020. It was during the Bathurst 12 Hours where it finished in fifth place. This participation will be a great first for this team in this legendary race. And for the occasion, the Hong Kong-based structure has chosen to align Jules Gounon (FR), Maro Engel (ALL) and Luca Stolz (ALL) on the Mercedes-AMG GT3 No. 99. The French driver said he was impatient at the idea of riding on this legendary track. “I can’t wait to see the entire Craft-Bamboo Racing team in the United States. I am very happy to represent Craft-Bamboo Racing at the 8 Hours of Indianapolis. Especially driving alongside Maro and Luca will be a first for me and I’m really looking forward to driving with them.”

The team director, Darryl O'Young, did not hide his joy. “ To say we are thrilled to be back in international GT competition is an understatement. We are very focused on preparing well for this event, in order to give our drivers, engineers and crews the best opportunity to win the 8H of Indianapolis. With the support of Mercedes-AMG Customer Racing, we have a very strong driver team and technical support, so our goal is to perform well and aim for victory.”
