The Indianapolis circuit hosts the second and penultimate round of the Intercontinental GT Challenge (IGTC). The event, lasting eight hours, will begin at 16 p.m. French time.
Pole position was taken by Alessandro Pier Guidi in 1'33''456. 13 cars followed in the same second, and four drivers managed to set a time less than a tenth of the day's pole. This shows the intensity that the race promises.
Among these very close contenders, we find the No. 8 Audi R3 LMS GT25 from Audi Sport Team Sainteloc with Patrick Niederhauser clocked in 1'33''514. Jules Gounon, on the Mercedes AMG GT3 from the No. 99 Craft-Bamboo Racing team lapped in 1'33''515.
For its first edition in 2020, BMW won via a double from Walkenhorst Motorsport.
