JSB Compétition enters two cars in TCR Europe

Julien Briché's team, JSB Compétition, has confirmed the presence of two Peugeot 308 in the 2020 TCR Europe championship, which begins at Le Castellet (Var) on August 23. If the cars will be exactly identical compared to 2019, the workforce has changed slightly.

Julien Briché will begin its third season in the competition. After a year of learning in 2018, he won four victories in 2019 and finished vice-champion, being in the running until the last meeting. Two retirements in particular prevented him from taking the prize in this very tight championship.

The second JSB Compétition car lined up will be entrusted to Jean-Laurent Navarro, who will aim for the title in the category reserved for less experienced drivers. The 42-year-old from Montpellier still took second place in the 308 Racing Cup last year at JSB Compétition. This will be his first in TCR Europe with Peugeot; he had done a freelance job on a Golf GTI.

The team is considering entering a third car in TCR Europe. She will also continue in 208 and 308 Cup and will compete in a few rounds of TTE.
