K-Pax ready to “take it to the next level”

As FFF Racing dominated the GT World Challenge Asia in 2018 before shining in Europe last year with the Lamborghini Huracan GT3 Evo, K-Pax Racing will face the jousts of GT World Challenge Europe after having shone in recent seasons on the other side of the Atlantic.

An arrival in the form of an operation of two Bentley Continental GT3, which digitally replace the copies of the Team M-Sport, the main strike force of the Crewe brand since the launch of the program. But the desire to refocus the commitment in GT3 around customer teams (such as CMR or Team Parker Racing) has redistributed the cards within Bentley Motorsport, which will be able to count with K-Pax on a team experienced in events in the category.

“This is a new chapter in the rich history of K-Pax Racing,” says program manager Darren Law. Jim Haughey (President) has been a big supporter of the USA Championships and has proven the team's ability time and time again with multiple championships and wins here in the USA we feel we are ready to take it to the next level .

The SRO GT3 series is the highest level of the category internationally, and is where the best teams and drivers compete. We realize it's going to be a little different for us, but we're up for the challenge. We have the experience, drivers and support from Bentley Motorsport and we can’t wait to start the 2020 season.”

If K-Pax will discover the European level, the structure will be able to rely on official Bentley drivers such as Jules Gounon, Maxime Soulet and Jordan Pepper. “We have not been able to do further testing due to COVID-19 as a US team, while most European teams have been able to ride, comments the Spaniard Andy Soucek, regular with the team and the Continental GT3s.

So we will be a little on the defensive. However, we will give everything to be at the necessary level. The most important thing is to see how the car works at Imola, because it's a bit of an unknown track for everyone. This is the car's first time on this track, and during the practice sessions we need to do the best job possible on the car's settings in order to have a solid basis for qualifying and the race. »

The 3 Hours of Imola will be followed live this weekend on our website.
