Kammerer wins Monza event at SRO Esport GT Series Charity Challenge

After the semi-finals where the Esports pilots of Ferrari David Tonizza and Enzo Bonito dominated their respective heats, the one-hour final heat of the SRO Esport GT Series Charity Challenge saw the victory of Arthur Kammerer.

Leader during the first twenty minutes, after taking the advantage at the very start of the race, Hosseini (Mercedes-AMG GT3) had to retire following a connection problem, leaving pole sitter Nils Naujoks (Mercedes-AMG GT3) to regain the advantage, with at this moment a little more than two seconds ahead of Arthur Kammerer (Mercedes-AMG GT3).

But another twist a few minutes later, since Naujoks collected a 15″ penalty for a previous contact with Hosseini, thus placing Kammerer virtually in the lead ahead of Mike Nobel (Lamborghini Huracan GT3 Evo).

The order will no longer change on the track, Naujoks crossing the line first but being forced to cede victory to Kammerer, wild card in this event, winner ahead of Nobel and Naujoks, 3rd in the end.

David Tonizza (Ferrari 488 GT3), official Ferrari Esport driver, thought he saw his hopes dashed in the last by making a mistake at the exit of the Variante Ascari, but ultimately retained 4th place ahead of Axel Petit (Mercedes- AMG GT3).

Dennis Lind (Lamborghini Huracan GT3 Evo) ranks as the best real driver in 10th position, when Simon Gachet (Mercedes-AMG GT3) finishes 15th.
