KCMG towards a full season in IGTC

La Nissan GT-R Nismo GT3 is no stranger to the Bathurst 12 Hours, “Godzilla” having won in a very good way in 2015 with the trio Katsumasa Chiyo – Wolfgang Reip – Florian Strauss (engaged under the official Nismo banner).

2019 will see the Japanese GT3 return to the slopes of the Mount Panorama Circuit in Australia, the start of a full-time presence for the structure KCMGMore. Paul Ip's team will field two cars at Bathurst, just like in the four other events on the program: Laguna Seca, Spa, Suzuka and Kyalami.

Katsumasa Chiyo. Alexandre Imperatori, Oliver Jarvis, Edoardo Liberato, Tsugio Matsuda and Josh Burdon will be selected to make up the crews in Australia.

“It will certainly be a tough challenge, but we have a great team and drivers and we look forward to being able to compete against some of the best teams and drivers in the world at this event, comments Ip.

KCMG is proud to continue its successful partnership with Nissan Nismo and looks forward to seeing the GT-R Nismo GT3 take to the mountains. »

KCMG had also defended the interests of Nissan Nismo during the last FIA GT World Cup in Macau, but nothing has yet been revealed from the Japanese brand regarding its intentions to line up for the Manufacturers' title in IGTC.
