Kevin Magnussen adds a new 24-hour race to its 2025 schedule. After Daytona and Le Mans, the Dane will be at the start of the 24 Hours of Spa, on June 29. The former driver of Formula 1 will be associated with René Rast and Valentino Rossi driving a #4 BMW M3 GT46.
“I am very happy to be back at the 24 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps, smiles Valentino Rossi. "It's a fantastic race, very demanding and difficult, on a circuit that commands respect. The level of this race, with the best drivers and teams in the world in GT, is incredible. I'm looking forward to competing in this race with my great teammates Kevin Magnussen and René Rast."
“I am really looking forward to discovering the 24 Hours of Spa with BMW M Motorsport and Team WRT, Magnussen confides. I'll also have to get used to the BMW M4 GT3 EVO. I have some experience in GT racing because I competed in a race with my father, the 12 Hours of the Gulf, a few years ago. René and Valentino will certainly be able to help me a lot to get used to the car as quickly as possible. I'm very excited to share the car with them. Valentino is a legend and René, whom I know well since we are in the same team in the FIA WEC, is a true champion. It will be a pleasure to participate together in these 24 Hours of Spa."
The second Team WRT car, the No. 31, will be co-driven by Marco Wittmann, Sheldon van der Linde and Dries Vanthoor.
