Kyle Busch wins in Xfinity at Charlotte

If Kyle Busch (Toyota) failed at the foot of the podium at the Coca Cola 600 held last Sunday at the Charlotte Motor Speedway (North Carolina), the Joe Gibbs Racing driver was even more effective in the next day's event held at the same oval as part of the Xfinity Series.

The double Cup Series champion indeed signed his first success of the season, his 9th in Charlotte and the 97th of his career, overtaking Austin Cindric (Ford). Despite a penalty in the pits and a missed restart in overtime, Kyle Busch was able to regain the lead of the race while his opponent lost another place by being caught by Daniel Hemric (Chevrolet).

“These guys gave me a hard time on the restarts, it really surprised me. It seems that I am no longer very good at this exercise. But it’s in any case a good thing to get a victory in Charlotte.”, recognized the winner.

Kyle Busch was the main leader of the event with 94 laps spent in the lead out of the 203 contested in the race. The event was marked by numerous accidents since the officials noted around ten interruptions.
