Germany in turn bans mass events until August 31

Germany is logically aligning itself with its neighbors to extend the period of confinement due to the coronavirus pandemic, and drastically reducing large gatherings to avoid a second epidemic wave.

Via the voice of its Chancellor Angela Merkel, Germany has confirmed the gradual reopening of its stores, but will remain in confinement until the beginning of May, with the resumption of school activities.

On the other hand, no mass events until August 31, including sporting events in particular. THE DTM and German series like the Nürburgring Endurance Series or the ADAC GT Masters should therefore be affected, as should the Berlin ePrix (June 21).

Usually held in August, the Rally of Germany does not fall under the scope of this decision, since it was contested in October this year.
