L'Alpine Europa Cup aims for consolidation

The second season ofAlpine Europa Cup in its modern version will begin this weekend as part of the French Circuit Championship, with the opening of the 2019 debates on the Paul Armagnac track in Nogaro.

After an initial launch campaign, the series featuring the Alpine A110 Cup, little sisters of the GT4s of the French Championship FFSAGT, now aims to reach its cruising speed.

20 cars will make up the starting grid for the Gers event, without the first 2018 champion Pierre Sancinéna, who is focusing 2019 on GT4 in FFSA GT or even in GT4 European Series. But the candidates for his succession appear numerous, including Mike Parisy, who will discover a new championship after his experiences in GT3 then in GT4 (titled in FFSA GT in 2017).

Gaël Castelli, Nicolas Milan, Marc Guillot and Vincent Beltoise, all regulars in the one-design series, are already positioning themselves as serious competitors to aim for the forefront.
