ETCR has its engine manufacturer

The WSC Group in charge of ETCR has revealed the supplier who will develop the mechanical assembly installed on electric cars.

The ETCR, this electric series which will arrive in 2020 alongside the popular touring car categories, will see its mechanical assembly developed by Magelec Propulsion. The company will produce the inverter, motor and gearbox which will be common to all electric cars in the championship.

“The Magelec Propulsion team is delighted to bring its products and its expertise in electricity to ETCR. We look forward to continuing our progress in electric”, comments director Craig Daniel.

Magelec Propulsion actually has extensive experience in electric competition since it was involved in Formula e from its beginnings.
