Russia pocketed a third medal this Sunday at the FIA Motorsport Games after those in Bronze in Karting and Drift, and this time it is gold that Klim Gavrilov offers his country at the end of the TCR event.

The correct procedure sees Gilles Magnus (Belgium) retain the benefit of his pole, but the race is almost instantly placed under safety car regime, to evacuate the Hyundai i30 of Luca Engstler (Germany) immobilized at the edge of the track with a missing wheel after hitting the Audi RS 3 LMS of Enrico Bettera (Italy) who had missed his start on the grid.

Gilles Magnus takes advantage of the restart to escape while Klim Gavrilov (Russia) winner in race 1, Tom Coronel (Netherlands) and Matej Homola (Hyundai) compete for second place, followed at a distance by John Filippi (France).

The order of the hierarchy does not change in the leading quartet while Filippi has to give up a position against Rory Butcher (Great Britain). And less than 3′ from the finish, a safety car was deployed following the MG6 of Zhen Dong Zhang (China) going off the track.

A neutralization which seals the fate of the race with the victory of Gilles Magnus ahead of Klim Gavrilov and Tom Coronel but also the final result of the TCR event since with a victory and a second place, Klim Gavrilov offers the gold medal to Russia.

Belgium won the silver medal, while Slovakia with Matej Homola won the Bronze. John Filippi finished this race 2 in 6th place after a fourth place in race 1.
