The Corolla TCR developed by Toyota Gazoo Racing Argentina

Toyota will join the TCR competition, a first for the Japanese manufacturer. To do this, the Gazoo Racing Argentina branch was designated for the development of the Corolla TCR version.

Technical and engineering work has already started at the Toyota Gazoo Racing Argentina headquarters located in Córdoba, the Japanese firm indicated in its press release. The vehicle technical approval process will initially be coordinated from there. Once finalized and approved by WSC, the car will be authorized to participate in all TCR competitions including WTCR.

The Corolla is already used in Argentina for the TC2000 or Super Turismo, touring car competitions but which do not meet TCR regulations.
