The entry list for the 2021 season

« This list is not only large in quantity but also in the quality of the very high level drivers expected ". This is how Xavier Gavory, WTCR director, summarizes this entry list for the 2021 season, and for good reason.

Among the 22 drivers entered for this new World Touring Car Cup campaign, we find the three WTCR champions Yann Ehrlacher (Cyan Racing), Norbert Michelisz (Squadra Corse) and Gabriele Tarquini (Squadra Corse) as well as veterans like Yvan Muller (Cyan Racing), Thed Björk (Cyan Performance) and even Rob Huff (Zengo Motorsport), back after three years of absence.

The youth will also be there, notably Mikel Azcona (Zengo Motorsport) and Santiago Urrutia (Cyan Performance). Rookie of the year in 2020, Gilles Magnus (Comtoyou) hopes to continue his progress by securing his first WTCR victory.

Jessica Bäckman, the first woman in WTCR history, will be partnered with her brother Andreas at Target Competition.

In addition to Yann Ehrlacher and Yvan Muller, France will be represented by Nathanaël Berthon (Comtoyou DHL) and Jean-Karl Vernay (Engstler).
