The Nascar Whelen Euro Series gets a makeover in 2016

The organizers of the Nascar Whelen Euro Series have unveiled in the Zolder paddock (Belgium) where the season finale is taking place the new model which will be used in 2016. This new package will remain based on the Sprint Cup and will notably adopt an 8 inch rear spoiler (20,32 ,XNUMXcm).

The objectives of this new package are to improve aerodynamics while increasing safety and lowering costs. The solidity of the whole has also been optimized. Performance should increase at a rate of XNUMX second per lap.

2016 Calendar

The organizers also published the schedule for the next season. The only replacement will be for the Italian round, with the Adria circuit replacing Magione.
