The Porsche 992 GT3 Cup transformed into an Art Car by artist Patrick Rougereau

The meeting between Patrick Rougereau and the teams of the Centers Porsche Normandy andIMSA Performance, under the direction of Edouard Schumacher, President of the European automotive group Car Lovers, quickly became obvious. Starting with the slightly crazy project of transforming a Porsche 992 GT3 Cup into an Art Car, all the stakeholders quickly agreed that they had to think bigger, further, in a more original way... together.

Very quickly, an atypical livery of a Porsche 992 GT3 Cup was born, followed closely by a miniature replica, a racing driver's suit, a helmet and even a pair of custom-made sneakers; all in the image of the Punky Fish. But that was not all, it was not possible to stop there. To continue the artistic collaboration, two main themes - both so vast and so precise - were quickly chosen: Know-How and Exclusivity. Know-How in order to promote all the teams and people involved in this artistic collaboration and Exclusivity, to bring an additional touch of excellence to this meeting.

A unique project, in collaboration with the great chocolatier Maxime Frédéric, was then born. Together, they imagined an exclusive box, named PLUM'KY, containing a chocolate feather, which will accompany – among other things – the deliveries of Porsche cars for a unique sensory experience.

Punky Fish: an inspired and inspiring work

Patrick Rougereau describes the excitement that takes hold of him with each new collaboration proposal. With the Porsche Normandie Centres, he felt this creative obsession; living and breathing the Porsche brand until his vision was realized. The creation of a Punky Fish dedicated to this artistic collaboration was a natural choice, finding many echoes between the Porsche 992 GT3 Cup – its design, its materials, its performance – and this phantasmagorical animal, half-fish, half-bird.

Limited and numbered to 8 copies, this 900 mm work of art is made of aluminum. Its feathers painted by the Bodywork team of the Porsche Normandy Center directly echo the Porsche brand, using colors available in the catalog of the German brand between 1973 and 2024.

A passionate collaboration

Patrick Rougereau, an artist known for his unique work, constantly surrounds himself with people who share his passion. This collaboration is no exception: exceptional talents contributed to each stage of the project. Adrien Paviot designed the files for the helmet and the Porsche 992 GT3 Cup, while Pierre and Romain from the company Savoir-Faire Paris created a pair of custom sneakers alongside Patrick Rougereau.

Maxime Frédéric sublimated the art with a gourmet chocolate feather, while the artisans of the Porsche Normandie Centers painted the aluminum feathers, adding a final touch of elegance and precision. These exchanges and collaborations are not only the result of chance, but the result of a perpetual search for quality and authenticity. Patrick Rougereau believes that it is together, with these enthusiasts, that he can create exceptional works.

Moreover, to celebrate this unique collaboration, an opening dinner will be organized in early October at the heart of the IMSA Performance racing team. The opportunity to unveil the fruits of this collaboration between Patrick Rougereau, the Porsche Normandie Centers and IMSA Performance, and to share with a handful of privileged people, in preview, the culmination of this artistic and technical adventure.
