R-Motorsport's victory at Silverstone confirmed

The appeal court of the Royal Automobile Club of Belgium ruled in favor of R-Motorsport on appeal after the episode at Silverstone. The victory of the No. 12 Aston Martin Vantage V3 GT76 of Vaxivière - Thiim - Dennis is thus confirmed.

R-Motorsport's victory at Silverstone confirmed

Ultra-dominant in England for the Silverstone round in the Blancpain GT Series Endurance Cup last May, theAston Martin Vantage V12 GT3 n°76 – R-Motorsport of Mathieu Vaxivière – Jake Dennis – Nicki Thiim had certainly won the event but this success remained pending following the exclusion of the car from the qualifying results.

No data had in fact been retrieved from the acquisition system, the race commissioners deciding to sanction the No. 76 in the only way possible in their eyes. A decision quickly counterbalanced by the suspensive appeal of R-Motorsport, studied by the appeal tribunal of the Royal Automobile Club of Belgium.

The latter delivered his verdict which reverses the decision to exclude the car from qualifying, therefore confirming the success of the Vaxivière – Thiim – Dennis trio.
