Lamborghini formalizes its program in 2020

As early as last July, we echoed of a probable participation of Lamborghini Squadra Corse and FFF Racing Team withIntercontinental GT Challenge in 2020.

The Sant'Agata Bolognese brand has confirmed its presence to aim for the Manufacturers' title this season, placing its trust in the Huracan GT3 Evo operated by the team which crushed the previous European campaign in the Blancpain GT Series.

The Sino-Italian team will line up its crew seen in 2019 on the European scene in Endurance Cup, namely the boss-pilot Andrea Caldarelli, associated with Marco Mapelli and Dennis Lind. Note that the Huracan GT3 Evo will make its debut at Bathurst (January 31 – February 2), during the opening of the championship.

After winning in Asia in 2018 and in Europe in 2019, FFF Racing Team is therefore turning to a completely different challenge, facing customer teams largely supported by the brands. Spa, Suzuka, Indianapolis and Kyalami will make up the rest of the 2020 Intercontinental GT Challenge calendar.
