Lamera Cup. ETC Racing-1 launches its season at Magny-Cours

Third time in qualifying during the two weekend races at Magny-Cours in the Lamera Cup, only twentieth in race 1 following a fuel problem, the ETC Racing-1 team (Dufour, Parsa, Demigneux) was able to raise the bar to win in race 2; an event cut from its last half hour of racing following a red flag.

Leading the general classification until the penultimate race of the 2021 season, the trio of Lamera #421 are among the favorites for the Elite title. The competition will be tough. We will have to deal with L'Auto Leclerc by Asphalte (Orgeval, Gruau, Casals), who started from pole and finally ranked 2nd, with Team Lamera (Couasnon, Thomas, Mattéo and Wilfried Merafina), 3rd today after having postponed the race 1 the day before. Without counting on solid opponents such as Continental Racing (Fargier, Maire, Billet), 6th and still looking for the right settings, Team TTM75 (Di Duca, Marie, Soave), 7th and slowed down by racing events this Sunday or again the Alma Racing Tremblaye trio (Loeul, Rouxel, Tremblaye), moved up from 28th to 9th place in race 2.

The battle promises to be just as close in Pro-Am, a category where the Race Track Rollinger TEC team (Rollinger, Dumont, Delpit, Bruckner) won this Sunday. In Gentleman, victory for Lamera #17 Triangle Belgique (Toussaint, Houtmeyers, Nava, Giovanni).
